LTI TruPulse Laser Series
The TruPulse lasers are a perfect to Trimble Mapping GPS to automate offsets.
The model 200 will bring distance into TerraSync or ArcPad and the 360 brings
both distance and azimuth into the software. No cable connection is
required with Bluetooth communications. or communications is available through a
standard serial port. The reflectorless TruPulse 200 can measure a remote
location's position with double or triple distance measurements. While the 360
with one shot, can position a remote location with a combination of distance and
azimuth. Once you press the Fire button a Laser Technology unit ,the
information instantly fills the distance and azimuth form in the data collection
software. The TruPulse series are amazing small with a dimension of
5" x 2" x 3.5" at a weight of only 8 ounces. There is no other
laser this small with high accuracy. The distance accuracy is typically 30
cm and less than one meter maximum. The azimuth is plus or minus 1 degree
typical.
LTI has been working for years to find a way place a compass device in a
small package without affecting the azimuth measurement. The answer is
TruVector Technology that provides the best possible compass accuracy regardless
of the laser's orientation. It even warns you when it needs to be
calibrated.
Laser automated offsets beat the manual input method by a mile. You can
map manholes and other features in the middle of the street. Map locations
under tree canopy or near fences or buildings where multipath can affect data
accuracy or block GPS signals. Map features that are on private property
or gauging stations in middle of streams.
